Welcome back to my series “What My Toddlers Ate This Week” where I share with you some of the meals I offered my toddlers this week. This is a series from my instagram that my community is very familiar with, but it is new to the blog, so welcome if you’re new here! I’ve been photographing and sharing the boys meals for over 4 years now on Instagram, and my “what my toddlers ate” weekly updates are always my top views, so I figured why not start sharing it here for you. I know figuring out what to feed your toddlers EVERY DAY can be mentally exhausting, so I am sharing with you some simple, easy to put together meals that are both nutritious and delicious. Let’s get eating, here are some of the meals my toddlers loved this week!
BREAKFAST
Our local bakery just recently started selling bagels and my pregnant mind could not stop thinking about them this week, so I had to grab some. For breakfast a few days, the boys had half a bagel with organic cream cheese.
Served with: scrambled eggs and fruit.
LUNCH
Something I love doing as a mom who is with her kids 99% of the day is using leftovers for lunch. We warmed our leftover spaghetti bolognese twice this week for a quick and easy lunch. I have lots of nutrient dense pasta recipes in the Toddler Feeding Guide (link here).
Served with: grandmas homemade buns (leftover from Thanksgiving) and cheese.
DINNER
Homemade chipotle night is a favourite in our house, we make our own tortillas, my husband and I make burritos and the boys get beef and cheese quesadillas.
Served with: homemade guacamole and greek yogurt for dipping.
SNACK
In the spirit of October, I am trying to make one fun snack for the boys each week that is Halloween themed. I made them “ghost milk” using our toddler milk and a little cocao powder to make it chocolate flavoured. Then I smeared some greek yogurt on the inside of the cup to make “ghosts” and used a dry erase marker to make the cute faces on the outside! The boys LOVED this.

Served with: a banana.
LUNCHBOX
Your weekly lunchbox inspiration, the boys go to my mother in laws every Thursday for a few hours while my husband and I are at work, and I always send a lunchbox that they can snack on. This week was pb and jam sandwich on sourdough, apples/strawberries, and cheese.
