If you’re looking for a cozy winter treat, this is your sign to make homemade hot chocolate, and it’s never been so easy. Pre making this mix means I can have healthy hot chocolate ready for my kids in one minute’s time. Throw it in some hot water/milk and you’re done!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

Add all ingredients to a mason jar, mix well. 

To Make Hot Chocolate

  1. Boil water.
  2. Add 1/2 cup boiling water to 1.5 tbsp of hot chocolate mix.
  3. Stir in 1/2 cup whole milk (or milk of choice).
  4. Add toppings of choice

Storage

Store in an airtight container on the counter for up to 1 month.

Description

Healthy homemade hot chocolate mix with only two simple ingredients. Kid approved and easy to make!


Ingredients

Scale

1 cup cocoa powder

1 cup coconut sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

pinch of salt


Instructions

Add all ingredients to a mason jar & mix to combine.

To make hot chocolate:

1. Boil water.

2. Add 1/2 cup boiling water to 1.5 tbsp of hot chocolate mix.

3. Stir in 1/2 cup whole milk (or milk of choice).

Notes

Store: dry mix at room temperature in an air tight mason jar for up to 1 month.

Make: Use 1.5 tbsp dry mix for every 1 cup of liquid (water or milk).
